Platycerium Coronarium

Platycerium Coronarium is large epiphytic fern with short and fleshy branched rhizome hidden in basin formed by upper fronds. Plant produces 2 types of fronds: infertile nest-fronds and fertile fronds.
Cultivation: small nests can be mounted to wooden boards to be hung indoors or outdoors, always away from the direct sun exposure. Nests can be also attached to the branches of trees. P.Coronarium prefers well drained conditions so nest can dry out before watering. This fern can tolerate cool to warm conditions, but is very cold sensitive. Propagate by spores.
